ABOUT US

best friends in business.

meet the founders:

Lifelong besties turned powerhouse creatives, Bianca and Malaena are the heart behind OK Now Ladies. With a bond built on sisterhood, depth, sweat & tears, and a whole lot of shared stage time, they’ve taken their world-class dance careers and poured them into a movement that empowers women to feel strong, sexy, and completely themselves.

Born and raised in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Bianca and Malaena have forged exceptional dance careers both at home and around the world. They trained extensively at the iconic Palace Dance Studio under globally renowned creative director Parris Goebel, becoming World Hip Hop Champions and winning multiple gold medals at Hip Hop International. As alumni of the all-female Request Dance Crew, they went viral on YouTube and toured internationally—teaching and performing on international stages.

Their next chapter? Joining the original cast of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE. They made the big move to montreal and then Las Vegas for creation and the world premiere.

Bianca performed in Michael Jackson ONE for two years before returning to New Zealand to pursue acting. She graduated from The Actors’ Program and has since starred on both screen and stage. Highlights include leading roles in Sense and Sensibility, Chicago - The Musical, Something Rotten, and NZ’s beloved soap Shortland Street. Bianca also led OK Now Ladies classes in NZ for over six years, building a thriving community of incredible women through movement.

Malaena continued with Cirque for over 12 years, dancing in multiple shows and alongside global icons like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Usher. She’s a choreographer and creative director—recently earning an Emmy Award as Associate Choreographer for the TV series Blindspotting. Her credits include appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The David Letterman Show, Freestyle Love Supreme and an exclusive documentary feature on TVNZ’s ‘20/20’.

Together, Bianca and Malaena bring unmatched energy, devotion, and heart to every OK Now Ladies class. Their passion creates a space where movement becomes empowerment—and every person feels seen, celebrated, and free..
